Crochet Stitches

Arcade Stitch Pattern

The Arcade Stitch Pattern is a stunning combination of arches and textured clusters that creates a rhythmic, flowing design across your fabric. This stitch is perfect for blankets, scarves, baby afghans, and even lightweight throws. The alternating rows of single crochet and dramatic double crochet arches give the fabric depth while still maintaining a soft drape.

One of the most charming features of the Arcade Stitch Pattern is how it creates a delicate wave effect without requiring complicated techniques. The contrast between the structured single crochet rows and the dramatic double crochet arches gives the fabric movement and elegance. Whether you’re making a cozy throw for your living room or a lightweight baby blanket, this stitch offers a perfect balance between texture, softness, and visual impact.

Here on Yarn Blog, I love sharing stitches that look intricate but are actually very relaxing once you understand the repeat. The Arcade Stitch is exactly that kind of pattern visually impressive, yet beginner-friendly with a little focus.
